Wines of the Rhone Valley

The Hermitage towers above its imposing granite hill on the left bank of the Rhone. This vineyard has a south facing extremely diverse soil. It corresponds to the different localities of this imposing hill : : Les Bessards, l'Hermite, Le Méal, Maison Blanche, Rocoule, La Croix, Les Murets, Les Signaux, Péléat, Les Greffieux, Les Diognières.

Crozes -Hermitage surrounds the north and south AOC Hermitage. Its soils are stony , warm and filter . The appellation covers 11 communes : Serves, Erôme, Gervans, Crozes Hermitage, Larnage, Tain l'Hermitage, Mercurol, Chanos Curson, La Roche de Glun, Beaumont Monteux and Pont de l'Isère.

On the right bank of the Rhone, Saint Joseph spreads over granitic . Its soil is made mostly of schist and gneiss , on a base of granite terraces , facing south / southeast.

Cornas is produced on calcareous soils dominant in the northern part of the name , the other part is made of granite scree and alluvial landscape with pebbles and red-brown earth.

Saint-Péray produced on limestone and granite soils are clay in a quiet white wine and traditional method.
